Lump ?. Any opinion what this could be?

Good afternoon all.

I hope we are all well today.

I have had this on my gum underneath my bottom teeth (at the back) for just over 2 weeks, there is no pain at all and it’s looked the same and not got better or worse (I don’t think).

I haven’t changed toothpaste or medication but I am a type 1 diabetic so I am on a number of oral medicine and injections.

I am waiting to hear back in regards to an appointment from my dentist but due to it being new year I am not optimistic for it to be soon.

I am a huge over thinker ans unfortunately my biggest fear is the dentist. I was just was hoping for an opinion in the mean time.

Sorry, your photo isn't very helpful and I can't tell what's going on. However, a persistent swelling in your mouth needs looked at urgently, make sure your dentist knows this and don't get fobbed off.

@Gordon okay really sorry I wasn’t much help, I am in the UK so I’ll ring 111 and try attempt an emergency appointment elsewhere as my dentist has not rung me back. Thank you
