Hi,
about two weeks ago I started experiencing a mild toothache in my bottom right 6. I attributed it to the fact that I recently got a filling in my upper 6 and that it's probably connected in some way or form.
However a couple of days ago, when the pain was almost gone, I started to notice a lump on my gums beneath the bottom right 6. At first it didn't hurt when I pressed against it, but it is starting to grow ever more sensitive.
I have already booked an appointment with my dentist, but as it is scheduled 2 weeks from now, I'd like to treat the infection by myself as much as possible (I do brush twice per day and floss every day aswell).
Is there anything I can do by myself?
This is how the lump looks like:
