So I had a bad experience getting my wisdom teeth removed which made me fearful of dentists ever since but I had to have 3 emergency extractions today. Now they’re closed and I’m having anxiety about this issue.
But as the title says, I was obviously told to eat soft foods and low and behold the mashed potatoes they said would be good ended up in the extraction sites the day of. (I had extractions on both sides)
they told me not to rinse my mouth for 24 hours to not dislodge the clot but I’m worried if I leave the food there it’ll get infected.
what do I do? Is it fine? Normal?
