Molar Extracted..after pain

I had my molar extracted yesterday, it was a tricky one as it had been previously root canalled and a huge filling. The tooth had to be drilled into pieces. Everything was fine but when the final root was being pulled i felt like a nerve pain across my jaw,so had more of a top up and out it came. Today is the day after i have had it extracted and everything has now worn off so i can feel odd pain here and tbere but im still
Getting abit of nerve type pain in my jaw. How normal is this? The practice is closed today so i cant call them up, has anyone experienced this.
i though once the tooth was out all
Nerve twinges would go.
