My two front teeth that are crowned are receding. I have been told its an age thing ( 59 ) and that my gums are healthy. Can a dentist fill the gap?

Because the filling would likely be a plaque trap and make the recession worse. Best answer I can give without knowing what's going on, sorry. PM me a photo if you'd rather do that.
