Nervous about gum recession

I’m quite worried about the gums around my lower front teeth. When I floss there, the tissue feels looser and not as firm as other areas of my mouth. I almost always have a lot of plaque build up in this lower front area, and the scraping to remove this gives me a lot of anxiety. It is not painful, and doesn’t bleed, but the thought of potential problems with gum disease or recession here increases my anxiety even more. Are these signs of a problem?

Any bleeding on flossing or brushing? That's a sign of active disease.

It's a difficult area to clean, the best thing is to use 2 hands when you're brushing, use 1 hand to pull your lip down and out of the way so you can see what you're doing better.
