Hello,
I have previously posted about this before. I have a broken tooth in the gum and awaiting referral for Iv sedation to have it removed, as I’m a nervous patient and had a bad experience with a bad infection before ending up in hospital.
I had infection and antibiotics helped a few weeks ago but need advice do I go back as the gum in between the tooth is growing and I’m petrified what will happen.
Thank you in advance x

It's called a pulp polyp, perfectly harmless and makes no difference to the extraction. You don't need anything for it.

@Gordon thank you 🙏🏼 I’m just worried as the referral could take a while and it’s growing bigger 🙈

It really is totally harmless, try not to worry about it.
