I had my molar out 2 weeks ago and my gums seem to feel okay except when i touch the outer side of my gum, it's not pain or any swelling or pus- just sore, is this normal? It's white inside so the tissue is there and no pain/soreness there.

Yes. The edge of the boney socket may be a little bit sharp and is cutting into the gum a bit. It's fine and will sort itself out soon enough. The whiteish stuff is granulation tissue and a very good thing :-)

thanks, i was hoping as i don't want to go back to the oral surgeon esp. if it's normal.:) I read about the granulation tissue so knew that was okay, glad the blood clot is gone.:)

@nutzforcats hi I have sore pain at the side of my extraction socket it will 2 week on Monday, I was wondering how you are now? I had lower right molar out straightforward extraction very quick and easy whole tooth came out in one. Hope your doing better
