Hi Everyone, I hope someone can help me. I had a tooth removed successfully two weeks ago, and a small absess cleared from under it. I was put on a course of anti-biotics and all seemed to be going well (gentle brushing, salt water rinses, soft food etc).

However, in the past few days, the side of my mouth where I had the extraction is becoming increasingly warm. There's no pain, no other sensations apart from this odd 'warmth' in my cheek and gums.

Could this be infection? Is it possible to be reinfected? Or this this just a aprt of the healing process?

Someone out my mind to rest, please!!

Difficult to say Mooper. It is a good sign that that you have no others signs or symptoms. It could well be the healing process. However, it it does not settle then ask you dentist to check it over
