Numbing for lower crown

I'm told that along with the usual block for a lower crown there will be 1 extra shot in the area of the tooth. Will this create a numb feeling somewhere different? I can't imagine where it would be since everything is numb with the block.

No, it's just to get any stray nerves on the cheek side, you won't notice any difference in the numb feeling.
