In the past I had been given a Diazepam to help ease myself into the building…. My dentist called me in a Xanax to take before fillings tomorrow. My question is- Is there a difference in the 2? I’m wondering why the change or am I already overthinking this???
TIA

Diazepam has a very long half-life so Xanax (in the US/Canada) is preferred for dental appointments 😊. That’ll be the reason (nothing sinister).

How did your wisdom tooth removal go?

Oh ok, thanks.
Wisdom teeth removal was nerve wracking and NEVER should had been… it was really so darn easy and am kicking myself for not doing it sooner which put my other teeth in a downward spiral (hence the fillings I need) I am really hoping this goes as easy as wisdom teeth did

That's great to hear, congratulations 👏

Hope your appointment today goes/went well, too!

Today also was a “never should have worried” day. I am scheduled for the other quadrant to be done July 3 same technique. Anxiety pill and Nitrous for the win!
