pain in gum/tooth

Hi,
i am soo soo worried right now.
i seem to have developed a strange dull ache/throbbing in my gum below my front bottom middle(left) tooth. . . . do you think it could be something serious....its not there permanently just seems to come and go???
i am just such a dental phob and am really worried!!!

possibly the start of an infection/abcess ?

Best bet would to get it checked out .. an Xray or a cold test by the dentist would be able to figure it out
