Hello all!
I get my wisdom teeth removed a week from now but it seems so far away. My heart is constantly racing which doesn’t help the fear that I might die. I’m getting IV sedation/GA with nitrous oxide beforehand and an oral sedative to calm me down prior to the actual surgery. I was wondering if anyone has done these before (all three) and your experience? And if you struggled with terrible anxiety? The days seem to crawl by and I can’t concentrate on anything except the things that could go wrong. I’m relatively tiny so the lack of food from the anxiety is making me panic and I’m also worried that if I’m nervous they won’t find a vein and they won’t do the surgery. I reallllyyyy want these suckers out but it’s been so hard with the days dragging by. Please help 😭

Hi there and welcome 👋

I can't help with your actual question, but wanted to let you know that we have a section with personal experiences of sedation here (in case you hadn't already come across it):

I can't remember off the top of my head if any of them included oral, inhalation and IV sedation!

You may also find it helpful to read through the wizzie removal success stories here on the forum:

Sending lots of hugs your way 🤗
