Part of face still numb

I had 2 lower wisdom teeth out and on one side my throat hurts so bad, but he other side has numb spots on my face 24 hours later. Will that ever go away. It's half my lip and chin

It took almost 48 hours for my daughter’s numbness to go away completely. She had all four wisdom teeth out on Monday last week. It was numb on her left side much longer than on the right. She even had it where she couldn’t taste on the left side because her tongue was numb.

I had a back bottom molar out a week ago and have a numbness feeling on my levt side of chin and lower lip , I really hope it improves quick, how are you going

I hope yours improves fast too. I'm on day 5 of steroids and it still is numb

My daughters did resolve but it wasn’t until the swelling went away. The surgeon said it can take up to six weeks sometimes! She said it depends on where the nerve was and how much swelling and if the nerve was impacted during the procedure. She said it is very rare for it to be permanent.
I have nerve damage with my apico on my front tooth. It took almost 2 months before the numbness faded and I do have one little area that is still permanently numb. I don’t notice it now as it is about the size of a pencil eraser.
