Permanent crown fell off and it’s Friday

I was flossing and my permanent crown covering a root canal popped off. Is it safe to have it exposed all weekend until I can see my dentist? I have the crown and it is not broken but I cannot get it placed back on my own. I would prefer that my dentist cement it in rather than going to an emergency dentist. Is it safe to wait 3-4 days and keep the area clean and not eat hard foods? Thanks

It'll be fine over the weekend. Eat hard food if you want, you won't damage anything
