Note sure if this belongs here (please feel free to move) as it actually has nothing to do with dental phobia but there is an interesting article on the BBC site about phobias (mainly school phobia) which contains some interesting views and information on how phobias are perceived by others.

Just a shame they had to ruin a well-balanced article by giving, on the same main page, a comedy quote about a women's strange phobia of vegetables (sigh).
