please help - don't know whether to extract or not

i have a root filled (and crowned) tooth that developed an abscess (it cannot be re-root filled) i have had a few courses of antibiotics and now the infection has made it's way to the surface. the swelling has almost entirely gone, there is no pain and the pus is almost all gone. do i still need to have the tooth removed? tyvm for any advice

Yes. The infection will recur. Antibiotics suppress the symptoms for a while, but they don't fix it.
