Please help! Found lump in mouth!! Already so scared and now I’m freaking out!!!

So I’m getting my bottom wisdom teeth removed due to a bad case of pericoronitis, for which I have been on antibiotics for 15 days now.

But today when I was eating I felt a sharp pain in the roof of my mouth, and when I went to look I saw this!!!! WTF is it???

I already have such bad dental anxiety and I’m freaking out about the removal and the infection and I’ve been in so much pain from the periscoronitis and now I’m TERRIFIED. Is this oral cancer??? Or an abscess???

I thought it was food that got stuck so I tried to get it out; it moves when I touch it if that is relevant. It feels like a cut on that spot.

Please someone help!! I’m so scared now!!! I’m panicking!! Sorry that the pictures are blurry, it’s hard taking pictures of the roof of your mouth.

I'm not a Dentist but you sound like you've seen one recently (as you know about the wisdom teeth), they check for oral cancer and I think it's quite rare and they'd've seen it. It could be some plaque, I had a white area that was plaque recently. I'm sure a Dentist will be along soon x

I did see a dentist recently but he didn’t do a full exam, just checked the wisdom teeth to diagnose pericoronitis and give me a referral for removal so he never even saw that spot. I’m hoping it’s just a canker sore. I don’t think it’s plaque because it’s soft, and it hurts when I eat. It stings even if I touch it with my tongue. But I don’t know because it doesn’t look like the pictures I’ve seen on google. I really hope it’s not an abscess!!

I had a white patch near my extraction and it was plaque and soft, I think it hardens in time. If it helps, I once went on the 2 week wait for suspected uterine cancer, with 8/9 risk factors, symtoms and family history and all was ok, plus out of everyone I've heard of with cancer, I've never known of oral cancer. Do get it looked at but I really think you'll be ok x

Looks like an ulcer (canker sore in US), it should clear in a few more days, if it persists more than 2 weeks get it looked at by a dentist (I don't think it will though!).
