I need old fractured implants removed - they have become infected. I have a congenital syndrome which makes use of epi impossible and causes an ideosyncratic reaction to medicine. I have a platelet deficiency from side effects of chemo. Carbocaine doesn't work as I discovered when I had a wisdom tooth removed. The dentist who put the implants in will not see me -- he doesn't want the responsibility and was scared when he put them in because my blood pressure tanked when he did it. I have told all this to my present oral surgeon and we will do whatever is necessary in the hospital. I don't want to bleed to death or try to do this if I can't be properly anesthetised.

I'll take any professional advice out there.

What about?

It sounds like your surgeon thinks he can manage this?
