I had my implants put in friday+i still have numbness in my tongue-lips (+they are massively swollen) I haven't eaten for 2 days+can barely open my mouth. Please tell me when this will go?

Typically the swelling is the worst on the second day.
As to numbness you should contact your dentist now. You shouldn't be numb. There should be an emergency number to contact.

But they said it could be like that for a week :( I just want to eat.

As Dr K said, the numbness needs to be investigated now if it's still there. You'll need to call the emergency number you or your escort has been given and tell them what is going on. They may want to take x-rays to see what's causing this.

With regards to food, you may want to try a liquid or very soft food diet so soon after getting implants for both arches. Nutrition shakes fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals would be good if you're having trouble opening your mouth. We've also got a page with soft food suggestions here: https://www.dentalfearcentral.org/faq/soft-foods/

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

getting back down there is not an option right now (need someone to drive me) my check up will be in 3wks. I've only eaten 1 thing in 3 days+that was very differcult as my tongue hurts (feels like its been cut).

Beg borrow or steal a lift from somebody. If you don't get this investigated quickly the numbness could be permanent.

I really can't tell if its numbness or just swelling tho,I'm being told its normal.

What should my mouth look like inside? I can't see much but it looks a mess,I assume some of its stitches,am I just ment to fend for myself now for 3wks I don't know what's normal+what isnt.
