No personal recommendations for Hull that I can recall, but I came across this: https://www.castleparkdental.co.uk/ - might be worth checking out? (there are some negative Google reviews for a dentist called Chris, but he no longer appears to work there. Both Andrew and Ozge appear to be getting good reviews from nervous patients, and Simon's description also sounds promising).
