Can anyone help with this problem

I have just purchased private dentures at a considerable cost and im not happy.
Has anyone else had problems with them.
I cannot put them in my mouth as they are so painful, i am waiting a few days to let gums recover a bit before trying again, has anyone else had problems, do they just need time to adjust.

Also im not happy with look of them, colour not quite right but as back teeth not too much of a problem, wondering whether i should of stuck with NHS for fraction of the cost.

If the dentures rub then they will need adjusting.
arrange a visit to the dentist but wear the new dentures for a day before so they can see where the denture is rubbing.
the benefit of a private denture is that they can allow higher quality laboratory materials and workmanship
