Hi guys, I had a gum infection up around my front tooth and I had been taking antibiotics for five days. Now it's nearly a week after finishing the antibiotics and my front tooth hurts when I bite down. Does this mean the infection has spread into the tooth itself and may be creating an abcess?

You need to return to the dentist because if you have been on antibiotics you have had an infection or an abscess. Either way you need to return for follow up treatment. Your dentist should have told you what the problem was and told you to make an appointment after you finished the antibiotics. :)
