Hello, I want to ask a few questions that have been in my head for a long time and I would be very happy to know the answers. Since I have an infection of an open tooth, I am worried about several questions, is it possible that the temperature I have is from it, I had minimal swelling of the bone, which dropped .. the temperature is somewhere around 37.3 only in the evening, and I do not feel bad and do not feel I have unless I measure it, can it be from stress because I am very stressed? And also before when my face was swollen was the temperature a normal reaction to the abscess? It is possible 37.3 is my normal body temperature at evening?

Hey not a medical
Or dental professional
So can’t offer advice in that way and if you are worried then please seek out support from the appropriate service. I think Normal Ranges depend on what type of thermometer you are using. I thought that was a normal temperature of approx 37. If you are worried about tooth infections there is a great reassuring thread on hear.

Sorry to hear you are feeling very stressed by it

Well, I asked a medical person, someone had told me until 37.4 in the evening, in some places it says 37, so I was surprised, I don't feel like I have a temperature when I have it, the electronic one shows less, and the mercury one shows more. That's why I'm confused.

My mum told me to stop check my temperature if i dont feel sick

This is a great advice. If you are someone who checks often and worries about having health problems, then checking only maintains the cycle. Focusing on different things - hobbies, friends, things you enjoy - may do you more favor.

Hello, I have a case development, just in case I called a dentist and took an antibiotic for 6 days, because the tooth is open, I think the infection is completely clean, there is no bad smell from the tooth, no pain, no swelling! Now the temperature is 36.9 at evening I don't know if it's because of the tooth is clean or because I'm soooo much calmer after the antibiotic. How long do I have to find a dentist to visit before the infection returns?
