Requesting extraction of infected RCT tooth?

Five month old RCT molar which has had two infections pre RCT and now has an abcess underneath. Dentist wants to keep trying to save it. I'm on antibiotics with increasing pain and four hours sleep since Saturday.

Due to medical history can only take paracetamol and codeine. Tooth is sore to touch and raised in socket. Only cold water stops the pain.

Phone today to ask about extraction once tooth is not infected. No answer from dentist yet. All other teeth are ok.

Tooth extracted today. Fingers crossed that's the end of it. Large abcess underneath.
