Root canal before oral surgery extraction

Is it normal for them to schedule a root canal two days prior to my extraction of eight teeth? I am just worried about the discomfort level.. Can there be any complications during surgery because of it?

I can't see why not, assuming you're up for getting it all done so quickly?

It won't cause any problems with the surgery.
