Does anyone notice when rinsing with salt water after tooth extraction that you loose your taste buds?

I didn't notice anything but i gave up after 2 or 3 attempt b/c i couldn't stand the taste of it so that might of been why.

no never happened to me but I have not had a tooth out recently but even when I had a tooth out 5 years ago i never lost my taste buds

Thank god im not the only one. I think it’s also because I become obsessive about it and probably do it too much. I smoke so I do it after each smoke and eating!
