Scared to get a bridge after failed bone graft

Hi everyone 😊

I started a long journey earlier this year towards a healthy mouth. I had a big surgery in May that included removing 12 teeth including my front teeth and bone grafts placed in hope of getting implants. I just had my 4 month check and they said the bottom graft is not stable enough to hold implants at this time and we are waiting another 4 months for top four teeth.
The surgeon said he would approve my dentist to offer me a better solution to the flipper I’ve been in.
He wants to put me in a bridge for the bottom 4. I had assumed I would go into a removable partial and try bone graft later down the line.
Any advice on either options?
I’m worried about the bridge on my canine teeth as they will have to file them down and they are healthy teeth.
I’m scared to death and barely have any teeth left.
Please help a scaredy cat ❤️

Might be worth looking at a Maryland bridge (well 2 actually) off the canines, depends what your bite is like but that would be much less destructive than a conventional bridge.
I think a decent denture is a good option, it's kind of up to you I suppose as to which option you want to go for.

@Gordon thank you so much for responding. I will ask about it, I’m definitely concerned about tearing down teeth I worked so hard to save. The initial surgery was extremely expensive and a challenge to get through. To be told I need to do a conventional bridge versus implant is understandable due to bone loss but we were trying to save teeth and it seems to nub them down is against what we initially started with.

How was using the flipper? Which tooth/teeth was it used for? I had both left upper molars removed (wisdom teeth extracted long ago) and concerns there will not be enough bone left for 1 implant. I'm wondering what my options will be for the left molar if implant is not doable.
