Hello!

so was at my dentist to day and discovered that my upper left second molar had started to be resorped by the wisdom tooth and would need to be removed and be replaced by the wisdom tooth.

im going to an orthodontic tomorrow to get evaluated and see if the right upper side is being resorped aswel (they couldnt get a proper picture at my clinic).

so im just asking you guys to get a second opinion, is this a smart thing to do? pros/cons etc. im 18 btw, 19 in november.

will attach pic later when i can get access to a scanner.

Ok here are images, first one is from the denist, they couldnt get a proper image on the upper right tooth, and the upper left second molar he said he was certain that it was being resorbed by the wisdom tooth.

picture taken today at the orthodontic, the specalist wasnt there, just his assistant from the picture it shows that the upper left second molar might not be resorbed after all.

and there is also a clear line between the upper right second molar and the wisdom tooth.
