Sensitive Gum Under Dental Implant

I am all of a sudden experiencing sensitivity under the gum one of my molar dental implants. I have had the implant for years now, so it is definitely not due to the newness of the tooth. The only time that I notice the sensitivity is when I am brushing and when I put my finger on the gum. There is no redness and no pain otherwise. I have severe health anxiety, so I am thinking the worst of course, so I wanted to ask and see what it could be. I am hoping I do not have to end up at the dentist since I just had a full cleaning and exam a month ago. Thanks!
