I posted in January introducing myself and explained how I have broken teeth and such a phobia of the dentist that I need GA. I now have a back tooth that has broken but left the nerve completely exposed im in pain every day with it now and can hardly eat a thing without hitting the nerve even when I try to avoid it. The problem is my teeth are so broken pretty much all my top teeth, that I can’t even eat on the opposite side due to a broken wisdom tooth and exposed nerve on the bottom. I’m 29 years old and I look disgusting I don’t know what to do the last time I went for treatment they handled me so badly it made my phobia even worse I feel sick just thinking about trying to get them sorted but I was told it’s impossible on the NHS for GA and treatment while under not just extractions. And then a lovely person on here explained that I can get all that done on the NHS I just needed to be referred to the special needs part. Thing is I don’t have a dentist, there’s hardly any taking on nhs patients at the minute let alone getting treatment while asleep. I’m now becoming desperate even considering going to A and E for my back tooth but I don’t know if they will put me to sleep for that and I need help. I need help getting my teeth fixed I’m desperate. Please read my previous thread for more detail about my last experience but please someone help me 😢😢

Hi, good afternoon! Did you get in touch with the services as advised in your previous thread?

Dental problems are no joke. I had more than my fair share of them. I understand your requirement for urgency. The pain can be intolerable. Please keep up with pain relief when you can, if it can't rid you of the pain, at the very least it can reduce it.

Your situation is sounding quite familiar and in the end I had all but 8 of my teeth out. Now wear a full top denture and partial bottom and much happier. Your treatment will have you feeling better. Just keep in mind you aren't alone through this.

Hi there I did attempt to call them but I had a panic attack and chickened out. By my count I will need at least eight teeth taken out and will need a denture but I don’t know how I get the treatment I need under GA on the NHS I have no support because no one understands my phobia. The pain is becoming unbearable and even my painkillers that I am on for my arthritis is doing nothing to help anymore. I don’t know what to do every time I even think about getting treatment I have panic attacks hyperventilating. I don’t know what to do
