Should floss go this deep or is this gum disease?

I feel like floss is going super deep in this particular tooth and there is a slight pain when it's happening, is this gum disease?

The gum is quite swollen, so the floss isn't going deep, it's going under a raised area of gum, if you see what I mean?
Are you taking any medication for blood pressure or epilepsy, (some of which can cause this kind of enlargement)?
