Side of tongue off colored

Good Morning,

I've noticed this spot on the side of my tongue. I'm assuming it's normal and supposed to look like this because it hasn't really changed in 2-3 months since I first noticed it. Just looking for an opinion on if I'm having a valid opinion. I am not having any symptoms of anything. Thank you for your thoughts.

Can't really be certain from a photo, sorry. Personally I'd suggest you go and get it looked at by a dentist. Won't take more than a minute or two and then you'll have a definite answer.
