Singer getting implants

Hi all,

I’m new to the forum. I’m a singer and I need three, possibly four, implants. I am so scared that the implants will change the sound of my singing voice. I’m getting flippers for in between procedures and also nervous about singing with them as well.

Have the extractions been done yet? If not get the dentist to take some good quality impressions of the existing teeth so that the tech can reproduce the shape as far as possible.
If it's too late then be prepared for some trial and error with the lab till you get things comfortable when you're singing.

I had a patient who was a saxophonist and got his 4 front teeth knocked out playing basketball. Sadly we didn't have the original teeth so it was a fun afternoon while he, the tech and I played with the shape of his replacement front teeth till he was comfortable with his sax. Lucky for me I like the sound of a saxophone
