Hi all, thought this was worth sharing and interesting. I follow the Foodie dentist on Instagram, and she has interesting discussions and a really easy going and fun personality , but she had a post on sinus issues and teeth wanted to pass on.
It’s FLU season! Toothache and sinus infections
?
?
? Do you guys ever find you get toothache during a cold?
WHY?
Toothache is a common symptom of sinus infections specifically in the upper back molars. The good news is your teeth are fine!
When your sinuses become infected by a virus/ bacteria your sinus fills up with mucus rather than air. This places pressure on the nerve endings on a tooth which lie close to your sinus!
?? Make sure you see your dentist to check it out, better safe than sorry!
