Hi,
I have a filling on the back tooth and it chopped just in the one-week filling (one year till now). Everything is good, not hurt or sensitivity, etc. the X-ray seems okay. I am wondering if I need to replace a new one. I have had some concerns which bother me for a long time and I couldn't fall asleep every night.
1. I heard that the dentist will inevitably drill the tooth a little bit deep when replacing the old filling.
2. can I just leave the chopping filling without treatment?
3. this filling has been replaced twice in a few years (keep falling out and keep refilling). I cannot afford an onlay/inlay and I am worried that keeping refilling will shorten the life of this tooth.
Many thanks for any help.
