I had a lower front tooth extracted almost 4 months ago after a root canal got infected, and am prepping for the implant process. The oral surgeon put in some bone grafting when he did the extracting. It seems like there is constantly what looks and feels like a small piece of bone sticking out in the front area of my gum of the extracted tooth. I have taken the piece of bone out before (when brushing teeth), it bled a little, and then reappeared. Does this sound normal? I am not supposed to see my oral surgeon for another month or so.

Yes this can happen. Sometimes the bone graft does not bind to the bone so then it makes its way to the surface instead.
