Hi everyone,

It's been 3 weeks and a few days since my surgery (this bottom right one was severely impacted - I was put to sleep).
I've been gently rinsing with warm salt water regularly since.
I was irrigating this extraction site & I noticed a small white dot, I tried rinsing it but it won't budge? I don't have any pain - just a bit of soreness. Wondering what this might be? Can it be an infection (Is it likely)? or a suture remnant?

Thanks so much!

Hi there,

not a dentist, but know that gums can act weirdly after an extraction and your body can take care of the most of it. Maybe you could just leave it there for few days and see if it goes on it's own and if not, get it checked?

All the best wishes
