Sore throat on day of wisdom tooth extraction

Hello, I have my upper right wisdom tooth extraction scheduled today but I'm woken with a raging sore throat. I had an ortho appointment on monday so suspect i caught something there.

Do I need to cancel my extraction today? I want to get it over with but not if there could be complications.
