My daughter is 28 and has special needs. Monday she had some work done and had to go under anesthesia to have it done. She had to have four temp. Crowns put on. One for on her front tooth for a root canal and four on her right molars, top and bottom due to many years of grinding. My question is: the crowns were put on the side that she does not grind on. Is that normal procedure? Thank you

Hi,
Usually we grind with our whole mouth, with all our teeth, unless there are no teeth on the opposite jaw.
You can ask the dentist what was the indication for a crown.
