My 11 month old baby hit his head into my front teeth about 2 weeks ago. There was a little pain but not anything severe and that resolved quickly. But now that tooth still feels weird. It does have a filling in both sides of it. It's tooth #8 I think.

My sinus cavity also hurts and if I rub near my nostril, the hyper sensitive feeling in the tooth goes away. My tongue keeps rubbing up against it and it just feels strange and the gum line on the back side hurts just a little bit like I burned my mouth on something hot.

I also have night time bruxism so I'm wondering if this is related as my front teeth have definitely shifted outward. I'm going in to see a TMJ specialist about it because I'm scared I'm going to grind my teeth right out of my mouth.

Does this sound like a sprained tooth or something else? Since it's my front tooth I'm really freaking out about it and subconsciously worried it's just going to fall out.

Yes. But it might have had enough of a bump to damage the nerve.

It won't fall out. However you could do with getting it checked out by a dentist.
