Okay i do not have the best teeth in the world and i recently had to get 4 perm and 1 impacted wisdom tooth extracted in the last few months and its caused me some depression and stress. i have been in mouth and teeth pain and i still am. i got a full exam and have lots of cavities which i do plan on getting filled over the next couple months i had a full mouth debridement done recently it caused some gum irritation and was told i have some bone loss and a mild case of gingivitis. heres the thing, ive been having pain in one of my back molars on my left side and my lower jaw, chin area on my left side and the dentist tapped my teeth and there fine. some have very small surface cavities some have no cavities especially one of the teeth hurting. . a tooth is hurting that has no cavities and is on my lower right chin jaw area. its like a tingly sharp pain in my facial muscles. i was checked for TMJ in december before two of my extractions one being the impacted wisdom tooth. my dentist has referred me to a specialist recently and i do have TMJ as my jaw has been clicking, popping, causing ear pain, headaches, blood shot eyes, jaw pain, burning, tingling in face and some neck pain. i recently had a very deep filling done to one of my upper teeth that did not hurt until the debridement was done and the TMJ started and he put in a indirect pulp cap and i was having the same pain as i was before the filling now its hitting my back teeth next to it. it doesnt hurt when i drink cold or brush my teeth or rinse with mouth wash but it does hurt when i push on the tooth and its a lingering dull pain. my teeth also have no infection what so ever as my TMJ specialist put me on anti boitics and muscle relaxers 9 days ago. so i am worried now that since it was a deep filling i will need a root canal which i cant afford or end up losing the tooth. any help would be great. btw i had the deep filling done Wed the 26th its now March 1st so 3-4 days.
