Still in the same pain hours after a deep filling.

Hi everyone. I am probably freaking myself out unnecessarily, but I just wanted everyone's opinion. I had a deep filling done on a tooth @ 5 hours ago. The dentist said it was close to the nerve, but wasn't deep enough that required a root canal. Yay! However, I am still in as much pain as before and wondering if this is normal? Does it take a few days to settle down? I am freaking out she did something wrong...

@Gordon It's better than yesterday, but still a bit whingy enough that I had to take some ibuprofen and panadol a couple times today.
