Still numb after 13-17 hrs

Dentist started at 4 pm yesterday numbing me up for dental work.. 9 needles and a total of 17 hours after first needle (13 since dental work ended) I still am completely numb on left side. I talk and smile like a stroke victim. And its bothering me soooo bad... ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HURRY IT TO WEAR OFF???

Please call the dentist back. This is not normal and needs to be dealt with quickly.
