Stressing about needing full mouth reconstruction

At my last dental appointment my dentist informed me that he felt I would need a full mouth reconstruction. My teeth are worn down due to acid erosion and bruxism, and he mentioned that I have a collapsed bite.

He said he'd need to open up my bite, build up the teeth with composite bonding and then crown them.

He said it was going to be very difficult to fix and he may have to refer me to a specialist.

He also mentioned that I have over-erupted teeth. I should have asked more questions about this at the time but I now realise what this is, as my bottom premolars now arch inwards towards the tongue, and my upper premolar has over-erupted.

I now can't stop biting down on that side and it hurts each time.

What is the cost likely to be for full mouth reconstruction with crowns in the UK, and what are the risks?

Can't really answer that, far too many variables. Sorry.

Risks are terribly dependant on what needs done, which I can't tell without looking at you, sorry again.
Really these are questions you should be asking your dentist.
