Surgery Today Please Answer this quickly--- I did something dumb

I woke up really hungry and ate at 10AM a light breakfast. I have my appointment for an extraction likely with sedation, at 2PM. I know I was supposed to wait 6-8 hours but I wasnt really thinking at the moment and i also take a daily medication I need to take with food so I didnt know what to do. Do I need to cancel my appointment?

You should call the dentist and ask. Only s/he will be able to tell you for sure.
