I am years overdue for a cleaning! Was using the waterpic yesterday behind my front teeth and something broke off!!! Did not hurt, did not bleed. Could this just be calcified tarter? I am so scared right now I can barely breath.

@Gordon Thank you. You have answered a couple of my questions recently and I greatly appreciate it. I have severe dental fear but I am trying so hard to get over it. It's been so long and I am so fearful of what they my find!!!!

@Gordon You were absolutely correct! I had a deep cleaning today and they got it all cleaned up! First cleaning in many years. And it is all thanks to this forum.

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out and thank you for reporting back.

Thank you for adding your expert advice is past posts. It is so much appreciated by folks like me that really struggle. I'm not sure where you are located, but I am in central Illinois, and your words of wisdom have reached this area. Thank you. God Bless

It's my pleasure. Dentistry has been extremely good to me, I'm happy to come on here and pay it back a bit.

I live in a little corner of the Scottish Highlands, near the notorious Glen Coe.
