Tea-stained teeth - what's a 'safe' cleaning agent?

My teeth are getting a bit stained by tea (I drink it black, no milk, no sugar, no sweetener).

Normally they would be cleaned as part of my dental hygienist visit but understandably due to COVID-19 most dentists are only carrying out emergency treatments.

I've seen various tooth powders and 'whiteners' online but am concerned about their abrasive properties damaging the tooth enamel. What could I use instead that is safe for my teeth and gums? This would only be a one off 'special' clean, I'd then go back to my normal twice daily brushing with my usual toothpaste.

Thanks

Tea stain is really difficult to shift at home, once it gets built up, it's like tar.
