I got 2 fillings done around 2 weeks ago. Afterwards one of the teeth hurt when I bite down on anything and the entire area was extremely sensitive to hot cold.
5 days later I went back to the dentist and she redid the filling saying she knows whats wrong and she did it a different way.
When I went home that day face was outrageously painful. The next morning that went away but the tooth continue to throb on and off, it also hurts to bite on anything. Its been 4 days since it was redone and it's getting worse each day. Its so painful to floss in between that tooth too. I'm out of my mind worried and I'm seeing the dentist tomorrow for her to have a check.
Guys I'm so so scared. I've never had a filling so painful before and it seems to be more painful each day instead of improving. Has anyone had any experiences like this where it went away on it's own after time? I don't know what the dentist can do for me. She can't redo the filling again. She's already done it twice. The bite seems OK to me and there aren't any bumps or high areas. I've been rinsing with salt water a few times a day.
Please share any experiences. Is there any chance it will settle on its own? I'm worried the tooth is dying or something cos it's getting worse.
