Terrible toothache please help!

Hi, ive been getting terrible toothace on one side of my mouth, not all the time but every so often! Ive got no visable holes or cavities so I cant figure out what it is, please can someone help me figure out what it could be? I do have one very sensitive tooth at the front of my mouth, but im aware of this and will probably have to have some form of treatment the next time i go to the dentist.
Speaking of this, what type of treatment may i get for my sensitive tooth?
